The sacred “Zia” sun symbol originated with the Indians of the Zia Pueblo in ancient times. The design reflects their tribal philosophy, with its depth of pantheistic spiritual teachings of the basic harmony of all things in the universe.
The circular sun has four lines at each of the four cardinal directions.. Four is a sacred number which symbolizes the Circle of Life: the four directions, the four times of day, the four stages of life, and the four seasons.

The four directions, the four seasons, the circle of life.. these short-stacked dangles are my simple soul idea of a sun symbol ☀️ Geometric copper washers are carefully drilled, cut and hammered for texture, then aligned one above the other so they descend and move together as you walk. Simple wire wrapped accents hold it all in balance, finished with silver wire ear hooks.
