The Bermuda Triangle is a mythical ~500,000 square mile section of the Atlantic Ocean off of the southeastern tip of Florida where dozens of ships and airplanes have disappeared. Unexplained circumstances surround some of these accidents; boats and planes have seemingly vanished from the area in good weather without even radioing distress messages. Although a great number of fanciful theories have been proposed regarding the Bermuda Triangle, none of them prove that mysterious disappearances occur more frequently there than in other well-traveled sections of the ocean. In fact, people navigate the area every day without incident!
Curious mysteries and myths of the world seem to make life interesting in the sense of daydreams and artistic endeavors…

The center stone of this one-of-a-kind, 100% solid copper arm bangle, is Crazy Lace Agate! This gem is a banded, Microcrystalline Quartz infused with aluminum & iron; it’s complex patterns & bright colors produce swirls of golds, greys, blacks, browns, and even the occasional pink/reds!
Crazy Lace Agate is known as the * Happiness Stone * Happy Lace * or * Laughter Stone * . The natural “topography” of the Crazy Lace Agate is what you can imagine the grand Phoenix sees while flying high above after rising from the ashes!
The size/circumference of the bracelet is 6 1/2 inches around the wrist and can be sized up or down by half an inch.

This heady bracelet is a collaboration piece between Justin @imperialphoenixjewelers and myself!
The base bracelet was made in his shop; I stopped by one night and he was kind enough to show me how his process works.
Big thanks to Justin for teaching me how to work with bigger pieces of metal and machinery, hanging out, challenging me on the creative front and pushing me with positivity to work on it!
We @curioustimetravelers foraged for the Crazy Lace Agate minerals in Georgia USA in 2017. The stone was naturally large and rough, so we cut it down, shaped the cabochons, and polished the Crazy Lace right up!
The bracelet is also accented with two chunks of Garnet found in “El Hoyazo de Nijar”, in Almería, Andalusia, Spain in 2018 El Hoyazo de Nijar, Spain_ IG post!

~ Origin ~
This shell was found a few years ago around Fort Myers Florida after hurricane Irma. Walking along the beach after the storm, I picked it up to look at its simple beauty closer, and I noticed this dark inside between the light of the shell. … In that moment, I had a creative plan for this shell, to shave away and expose the beauty! I am excited to have made that idea come to life! This shell will help remind the wearer to look for the Silver Linings of life!…

This two stoned necklace has a gorgeous Natural Feel with a calm yet commanding presence. Raw white Quartz I hand-picked from the creek beds of Arkansas dawns the peak of the pendant and I harvested the base stone near the Organ Mountains in New Mexico… I broke down the large chunk into this smaller bottom stone with my hammer🔨 then sanded down the back so that the topography of the face of the stone is the focal point 🏞️

I saw this easy going Mauve & White Quartz stone out in the wild and knew it was meant to be something special. I shaped it into a unique cabochon on my sanding wheel, then encased it in solid copper, framed to compliment the natural lines and soft color of the stone.
