· Gator teeth 🐊 These real alligator teeth were a gift given to me by a random gentleman who frequented the First Friday events with his family when I also went monthly. His job was to catch and release gators for a county somewhere in south Florida and he had collected these over the years… because he liked my work so much, he wanted me to have some 🙌🏼 finally getting around to it! The Gallery has come to me with a commission piece! A gentleman stopped by the shop and wanted his lightning whelk shell wrapped. It's a bit bigger than the one pictured but the same concept will be applied. Super exciting! ☀️

• Light blue teal sea glass paired with a rough smokey quartz geode piece we broke open on the road, both beautifully translucent, and wrapped in solid copper with bead accents ☀️ ebb & flow movement like the ocean 🌊

· On the left is a Lace Agate found in Georgia, from our first processed batch from our rock tumbler! The tumbling is going great, I have a lot of really beautiful Lace Agate pieces coming up and some slag glass pieces that tumbled nice with great color. The third pendant in is a cute try, and the end pendant is the most recently complete – a raw purple and white fossilized coral we found in Mulege Baja Mexico 💜 (I know it's fossilized coral because we also found some black specimens that are similar which are definitely fossilized coral from Honeymoon Island State Park near Clearwater Florida) We found blue, red, white, tan, mixed, and purple in Mulege.

On a personal note, I've been struggling off and on with making new pieces. I have tried a few that haven't worked out which usually does depress me for a bit.. plus other life things and stresses that have made me lose focus. But I've been thinking about making more and trying – I really want to restock the gallery for the new owners and I am excited to stay on a roll after a new spark and reminder of love for creating because of that raw fossilized coral and all the newly tumbled stones ☀️

· To me, it feels old world… European maybe, South American maybe. It feels like a carefree day about town ☀️
· This is the newest variation in my 'found ceramic pieces' group of projects. I've completed at least four others and this one is the best so far. Actually this might be my favorite piece I've wrapped since 2017. · From the bright colors, to how the eye can trace the lines flowing from top to bottom of each section, to how I took my time with care behind the scenes. I really love this pendant and I hope you do too. It's headed to the gallery soon 💐

• I'm not sure how long this pendant took me to make, I never enjoyed deadlines on creative work. I'll know in my heart when it's truly complete. (If I had to guess, I would say 3ish hours, from choosing the pieces, to dreaming and planning it out, wrapping it all, to the shining and detailing, to photo and post)
• I would say the prong setting was a success, but I know from experience with owning them that they can become loose over time and a big goal I have with my work is to make sure they are secure. So I put a few thin wire accents with the prong setting which also complements the flow
• The ceramic piece was more matte and weathered so I applied a coating to protect it
• The back of the mineral was a hard poking hazard, so I took a diamond blade on my Dremel to smooth it down a bit — I also shined up the copper wire
• I am so proud of myself for this one ❤️‍🔥

Worn ceramic piece, banded crystalized mineral, brilliantly-green sea glass to compliment the tile, and a few beads for pops of color … To me, it feels old world… South American maybe.. European maybe. It feels like a carefree day about town ☀️

· For this piece, Jeannifer reached out to me. I have met her many times at First Friday when I would set up my shop stall; she actually owns a store in the next town that sells nice jewelry and other art. She had a client that wanted a piece of #moldavite wrapped so she reached out and contracted me to complete it. I was given the general design by Jeannifer and I utilzed my copper to complete it. I'll shine the copper nicely before she stops by to pick it up 🌕 💚

Moldavite is a forest green, olive green or blue greenish vitreous silica glass formed by a meteorite impact in southern Germany that occurred about 15 million years ago. It is a type of tektite and a gemstone. Of the many materials ejected from the impact crater site, this includes moldavite, which was strewn across parts of Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria! How powerful 💫

#rosywolfsnail · Empty shell found in the fruit field! The fourth version of this trial and error work of wrapping shells from my imagination.. honestly, it's held in there perfectly with the right amount of tension. The biggest shell yet, and one I enjoy the most so far

· 🐌 The long snail shell shines light pinks hues of calcium carbonate layers
» As the snail grows, its shell grows with it
» The snail naturally adds layers to the shell, causing it to widen and curl around itself, resulting in the characteristic spiral shape
» This process allows the snail’s shell to accommodate its increasing size
» Snails do not abandon their shells like hermit crabs do, and instead, their shells continue to grow and repair themselves
» If a snail’s shell becomes damaged, it can use calcium and protein secretions from its mantle to help strengthen the damage
» The snail is always at home with its shell on its back 🩷

• Coral found washed up on the beach in Na Trang Viet Nam 2019, paired with a wildly perfect stone (likely #spiderwebjasper ) I've been holding on to for years, just waiting for right idea 🖤 For it's size at 3.25" in length, this ocean amulet will hang from a longer necklace 24"-26" adjustable. If my art director enjoys this creation, it will be available in the Franklin Anderson gallery in downtown Crystal River.

My visions and ideas come to life • Nobody does it like I do it 🌊🌅 Some days it just flows and I'll admit I'm a little proud when I pick myself back up after feeling down, for however long it's been,.. creativity and music like a warm embrace for my brain – they help me get up again.. you're okay, it's okay it's okay keep going, just do it youve got this baby no doubt

· Back in 2017, I was in Quartzite AZ camping at a free campsite… We went rock hunting and I found one of my all-time favorite specimens… A light pink Chalcedony rose bouquet. Chalcedony roses are usually single roses.. I have never seen anything like this! Within my first year of wrapping, I knew I had to have it around my neck ☀️ It's crystals like this that keep us searching… and I hope you have found, or future find, some of your all time favorites too 🩷🌹 #chalcedonyrose #rockhunter

This crystal is on the larger side at 2"W x 1.5"L, being so large, I enjoy it on a long 28inch "opera" length suede cord

· Flower Power 🩵 · I took to my work bench one night to switch it up and get some creativity flowing! I plugged in my Dremel to cut and smooth the edges of some ceramic pieces I found while adventuring on the road 🌼 I enjoy the good flow with this pendant and I'm excited to complete more.. I have about eight ready to wrap with two done so far.. getting into a little groove in the midst of many other life tasks.. balancing feels like alignment 🌱

About a year ago, I bought this scene of rolling-hills.. a picture Jasper cabochon I believe, from davidhunter01, and finally it found its way to my workbench to wrap a lively tree around. The bead is a special one from The Bead Garden-Sedona AZ ☀️ I handmade a sturdy clasp onto the café colored suede cord; and I did a liver of sulphur patina bath to give the tree some depth. 🌄

A gentleman from Canada contacted me here. We discussed what he wanted in a statement piece and he sent me a few pics of mine that he liked that I completed already and we decided on a tree on some Moab Utah jasper I found a few years ago. • The "Oak and Moss on blue jasper" on the end slide was my first wire wrapped tree; I had never seen another like it. I drew the inspiration from the magical oak trees here in Florida. My friend Sabrina claimed the blue tree a while ago ❤️🤘

I think it turned out pretty gnarly! · Sacred life patterns & organic growth wire wrapping in one inspired meditation piece🌻 Picture it: you're standing in line at a store, you look down and as your hand holds this necklace, your eyes trace the copper lines around, then you drift gently to the way the pattern cascades down from one object's patterns to the next and you feel calm inside. Now you're next in line ☺️

Sweet Gumball found by me, tumbled at the bottom of a local Florida waterway then I cleaned it up and made it nice to wrap. Next is a sparkling quartz cluster, and gracing the bottom of the triple pendant is a beautiful little piece of coral I found in VietNam, wrapped so the bottom seems to be floating ✨

All of these shells I picked up personally in South East Asia, with exception of the snail shell which is from the garden in Cape Coral Florida.

When I am wire wrapping, I aim to keep as much of the object showing as possible, keeping the natural beauty of the minerals free, open, front and center to gaze upon. Within this concept and vision I've flowed with, the subsequent collections of necklaces and earrings that followed from my subconscious are ones from my soul, they feel good; meditation objects for me and for the wearer.

Folks in person who don't know me or my story might wonder why these gorgeous shell creations are around fifty dollars… Maybe you are wondering why also? 🙈 It has taken my brain years to understand how to wire wrap the way I have and develop the style I have, stupendous in it's intricate simplicity. The years of travel I journied to keeps my eyes and heart open to stumble on and pick some stunning natural minerals from far out nooks of the world ✨ Because of this, my time and energy, my shop offers unique jewelry that is wearable art 😄

· When I make earrings I tend to have a mild anxiety and I know I won't be satisfied with what I'm making if the pair is not exact. I do try to match as perfectly as I can get it. Also, working with the tiny parts of earrings kind of drives me crazy 🙃 simply because I'm unpracticed with them. This pair was a lot of small adjustmenrs to craft and took longer than I thought it would, as usual. On the other side, I have faith and trust my process. I think these turned out pretty. 🌀

With these thoughts in mind, I can either try this shape again to compete against my ghost to complete the pair faster or I can move on to a different or easier shape. Either way, I'm gonna keep trying. 👁️

· On festival days, when I'm sitting on my tall chair in my vendor shop, I like to create LIVE in the moment. People often ask me, "Do you do all this work yourself!?" – And I respond, "Yes! The husband gave me some wiggle room to create and I did my best for this gift for his beautiful wife.

I do know them, so I checked their IG for recent photos for inspiration so that this necklace could be infused with as much love as possible for them. · The piece has a lot of natural movement in it from the raw crystals that compliment each other to the wire swirls of copper and brass and beaded accents that help guide the eye around; beautiful flow and synchronicities. How I planned the pendant has the top crystal representing the mom, the middle colorful stone as their daughter, and the bottom quartz representing the dad. 👨‍👩‍👧

I have wanted to make a "Tree of Life" pendant for some time now. Years actually. This is my first tree!.. and I understand why it took me so long to try. A tree of life pendant is a trend everyone who wire wraps seems to try at some point and even though I knew I would I just didn't feel the call. But then I moved to Florida and boy it's tough to miss those mighty magical Oaks and trees covered in flowing Spanish Moss. These trees really sit in my day dreams and now I've captured the bright copper tree popping on this gorgeous Jasper whose dreamy blue face gives the vague appearance of a hazy canopied landscape in the 'background'. I have one more Jasper bead like this in a different color… so I will be trying one more tree, at least, for now 😍

I rockhounded this white quartz crystal from Arkansas when ramblin across from coast to coast back in 2016. This piece is an older wrap style and looking back at my work I feel I was doing my best at the time and that I have evolved which is a great feeling. I know I still have a lot to learn and many techniques I would love to incorporate so I plan to try to look up a few more tutorials because I don't very often.

I'm feeling really upbeat lately as I've been trying to sort through my mind and life for how to segway from the years of digital nomad life with Steve into a more settled (but still adventurous) life. Attempting to wear many hats and be a better version of myself. Just trying my best every day to push different things forward.

· This is a cabochon I found in the depths of the dusty-blue drawers in the family owned rock shop "Tuscon Gem and Mineral World" when we stayed in town back around February to see if we wanted to live in this town. Anyway.. I have no idea what kind of mineral it is 🤔 but much like when I'm out in nature… I keep an eye out for beautiful tones, textures crafted by the Earth's elemental forces that have interesting patterns to tickle my eyes, excite my brain and match my soul.

… For four years now in the back of my mind I've fumbled over what I should price my artwork at. It's a struggle between knowing my worth and knowing my audience. Between my skills changing from a novice to an advanced beginner.

So I've come up with a simple tiered system of pricing each unique piece I create… On the website you will now see pieces at 15, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 and so on with little variance here and there.

You see – these pieces I create – the crystals and shells I use were not bought online and there is no "cactus wood dealer" in my area. 😆 Most everything I use I have researched and driven hours to get to or found and picked by hand as a generous gift from mother earth while on adventures with Steve. Sometimes we stop in local rockshops to pick out some gems I want to weave into my portfolio. ☀️ Some gems I find in nature are too rough so I've shaped, sanded, and smoothed them out during down months at home visiting our families. I've worked the wood as best as I can. The time, effort, love and care I put into each piece is also taken into consideration while trying to keep the wearable art pieces affordable.

I read a craft jewelry blog one night and found some advice that resonated.. it said something like, "those pieces that haven't sold in a while.. take a second look and try to refigure them somehow".

That is what I've done here with these few translucent Chalcedony crystals! Originally, I stumbled across these while exploring down Baja Mexico in the small chill town of Mulegè. Mulegè has three inactive volcanic mountains far off in the distance that you can see from a few of the tall points in town like near an old lighthouse where the mouth of a river meets the Gulf of California. I ask you to Google "Faro de Mulegè"… That's where I found them. ☀️ So when the volcanos were active, I think the extreme heat of the flowing lava melted the regular silica quartz crystal and helped turn it into the bubbly chalcedony you see here. Now happy rainbow accents compliment this magical chalcedony crystal for a stellar feeling ✨✌️

Druzy stones have a naturally formed layer of crystallization occuring. Because the layer of crystal druzy is not man made those sparkles will not fall or rub off 🥳

Picture yourself sitting on a park bench under the sun and shade, you feel a bit of anxiety but this necklace is on… When you look down your eyes begin to trace the copper wires around the warm wood.. you take in the colors for a moment and you find you're beginning to feel calm… You take a few five second deep breaths in and out.. and you begin your grounding process. When you feel a bit better, you keep on keeping on ❤️☀️

Jasper is a quartz gem that is usually known to just be solid red and not opaque – translucent. The Jasper I found is crystalized and full of every bright color! Because Jasper in general is fairly common, most of the value in a given piece relates to the saturation of its color, the beauty of its pattern or the artistry with which it is fashioned. 🤘✨

How it's made: I find the dirty cactus bones out on trails, I hand saw, shave down the wood with a razor blade leaving the grain, hand sand the wood, apply the wood protection, wire wrapped with solid copper, red creek jasper beads, teal magnesite bead, black lava bead, and copper bead, then liver of sulphur to darken the copper

This is my first time whittling wood! This is also one of the first projects I began to sketch my ideas before picking up wire.

This year, I've been in areas with a lot of down wood and when I go for walks or hikes my eyes are just taking it all in ☀️ In the photo, the wood pendants at north and west is wood found in a Flagstaff forest near Snowbowl, so it's probably Ponderosa Pine! The other pieces are from outside Denver Colorado somewhere 😄 … And I mined for the Quartz in Arkansas (North pendant is a Split Growth Sprouting Quartz!)

Coral polyps are small, soft-bodied organisms related to sea anemones and jellyfish. At their base is a hard, protective limestone skeleton called a calicle, which forms the structure of coral reefs. Reefs begin when a polyp attaches itself to a rock on the sea floor, then divides, or buds, into thousands of clones.

Reefs are important for so many reasons! They contain the most diverse ecosystems on the planet, protect coastlines from the damaging effects of the ocean and storms, and provides habitats and shelter for marine organisms.

Raw crystals like this is why I love wire wrapping.. I didn't have to do anything to it, no grinding or polishing, just a little baking soda and warm water with a soft bristle brush to clean it and watch the translucence sparkle in the light ☀️

This [ iron rich quartz? ] has the perfect natural diamond/dagger shape, with dreamy pink and white colors, and shimmering druze on a cavernous botryoidal body. This crystal is damn sexy and I'm aiming to create an equally magical home for it to nestle in to. This might be a personal piece until I can fully produce the desired outcome with electoformed copper around the soldered parts.. Would you rock this goddess piece? 😄🌻 #wip

• With all that has been going on in the world, I've been pretty quiet.. hurting, listening, and taking in all the heavy… but also.. Steve and I have had a lot going on ourselves (we're moving, and leaving tomorrow..!)

So I've been working patiently to make these earrings a reality, and wanted to share before we leave ☺️

Carefully cut wire, hammered, steady drilled, wrapped, beads placed with loving care, and silver coated wire ear hooks make these earrings a beautiful addition to match the unique copper pendants in my shop! I will add them to the website in the next few days 🦋

After two years of wrapping, I finally made babe his own piece. I worked with getting his approval every step of the way making his design (which isn't difficult, he's usually near by ☺️).. I worked with half round wire for the first time, and soldering, too!

• Recently, I had the opportunity to complete my first commission piece! My brother's girlfriend's Mom 🙈 gave me good direction of what exactly she wanted, and I had a mission to make it as close to what she envisioned as possible.

This stone is Quartz crystal from my "Grand Canyon" Collection, from when I found some gorgeous sparkling stones in the Kaibab National Forest, bordering the national park. • I took my Dremel and carved the stone a deeper heart shape, and encased it in a silver weave that hugs the curves just right 💖

I really apprciate the chance to collaborate, and loved getting to make something special for special someones!

This shell was found a few years ago on a beach around Fort Myers Florida after a hurricane. After I picked it up to look at its simple beauty closer, I noticed this darkness inside between the light. And I decided that day I was going to set it free… so happy to finally make that idea come to life 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑

This heady bracelet is one of the most challenging pieces I've created so far! 🔥 This is a beautiful collaboration between Justin @imperialphoenixjewelers and myself. The base bracelet was made in his shop, I stopped by one night and he was kind enough to show me how his process goes.

Big thanks to Justin for teaching me how to work with bigger pieces of metal and machinery, hanging out, challenging me on the creative front and pushing me with positivity to work on it 😄 I'm so stoked how this piece turned out! .
The center stone is #crazylaceagate found in Georgia in 2017 (cut, shaped and polished by me!) with two chunks of garnet found in Spain in 2018. The topography of the crazy lace stone is what I imagine the Phoenix can see while flying high above 🧭

Crazy Lace Agate is known as the Happiness Stone, Happy Lace, or the Laughter Stone 😄

I found this gem near my tent in Kaibab National Forest Arizona back in 2016. Kaibab boarders the south rim of the Grand Canyon National Park, and I was so excited to find these treasures on a morning walk while the coffee was boiling ❤️☕ .

• My first attempt at making earrings! Shaped the circle findings, hammered, and patina'd.. now I just need to look into getting some proper ear hooks and I'm feeling pretty great about this! 😄

On travels in Türkiye and Railay Thailand specifically, I remember SO MANY snails coming out if it was damp or during a rain shower. It felt like magic, how they would all come out of their safety, and I would be careful where I stepped, so I could kneel down to get on their level and just smile in awe. Snails are cute, so alien to me. Ridiculous in the best way how they take their time gliding along to move and how they eat a flower peddle or a blade of grass with their funny mouths. The spiral of their shells puts a smile on my face. It's automatic. I love snails ❤️🐌

I collected only empty shells on my journey, and that's the reason I am creating a limited number of snail shells in the gang for necklaces ☺️

I have been trying very hard to get my website set up in between feeling the call to wire wrap, and taking photos of all I've been making. So thank you for your patience and support of this one woman shindig I'm attempting 👽
