All Natural Jewelry Cleaning Technique
Below, I list a few ways to clean your solid copper jewelry! These cleaning methods will not prevent the darkening of the copper, but will help keep your 100% solid copper jewelry bright and new.

Over time, copper develops a patina and darkens into a warm brown color that gives a sweet boho feel to our jewelry!

Because of oils naturally on our skin, touching solid copper can cause it to discolor

To help prevent natural darkening:

Please avoid keeping any metal jewelry items in humidity of the bathroom

A quick cleaning or polishing will help keep the pendant bright!

Place dry jewelry in the cotton bags provided to help against discoloration

A coat of clear nail polish or resin can be applied to areas jewelry has contact with the skin; it’s important to let items dry completely before storing them

· Clean Copper Jewelry Naturally! ·
« Mild Acidic Bath »
~ Vinegar is natural and inexpensive
~ Apple Cider Vinegar may have a better smell
« Vinegar and Salt »
- Collect 1 tablespoon salt, 1 cup vinegar, and 3 cups water ; pour into a pot
- Bring all above ingredients to a boil, turn off, set aside
- Carefully immerse copper jewelry into the pot until the tarnish comes off (within 1-2 min)
- Rinse under warm / cool water; pat-dry thoroughly; oil stone if desired; See it shine!
· Jewelry Polishing Cloth ·
A Jewelry Polishing Cloth can be used in between cleanings to keep copper jewelry from getting dark or dull!
